Our Originals

When we teamed up as Outcrowd, primarily we were doing our favourite covers.  We were very clear about not doing what everybody else was doing, and wanted to stay true to ourselves with the various styles and influencing artists.  Approaching it this way, allowed us to provide a variety of sets that would appeal to a wider audience.  

Writing songs was not on our radar at first, but we are sure are glad we adventured into this, because we have been able to pen some great songs about our story past and present.

Our songs are all different.  While we find our way with them, we are very pleased to have a number of genres.  Some of the songs have great meaning, yet wouldn't be easily interpreted by the listener.  It gives us the opportunity to explain the song. 

So far we have over 20 songs to date including soul, country blues, rock and reggae blends.  Is it possible to have too much fun with this - we think not.  Our intention is to make a informal recording of these and upload at some stage.
